Ways to Warm Up Your Ice Cream

warm ice cream.jpg

It may officially be autumn, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t warm up with some ice cream. Since it’s getting chilly outside, we want to show you some tricks of the trade to make your ice cream eating experience easier, warmer, and more delightful. These tips will help you mix the warm with the cold so you can enjoy your frozen treat while still staying warm.
You may have heard about a new ice cream scooper that uses your body heat to easily soften and scoop out ice cream. In case you don’t have a body-heated dipper to make scooping struggle-free, here are some ice cream scooping tips:
  1. Take a very sharp knife and run it under hot water.
  2. Cut your tub of ice cream into equally sizedsquares.
  3. Heat up your ice cream scooper by running it under hot water and scoop your ice cream. It should be as easy as slicing butter.
Now that you can get your ice cream out of its container, we want to share some hot and cold fall ice cream classics with you.
Start your morning or end your night with Hot-Coffee Ice Cream. All you need is your favorite ice cream flavor and a hot pot of coffee. Just scoop the ice cream into a bowl and pour the coffee over it. The combination of the hot and cold will tickle your taste buds.
If you’re not a coffee person, you could always stick with the classic ice cream and hot fudge or caramel combination. Try Sunken Cupcakes with Ice Cream. Forget the icing, once you remove your cupcakes from the oven put a scoop of ice cream on top and enjoy!
Finally, we’re going to finish the day off right with breakfast for dinner and dessert. Get the kids together to make their own Pancake Sundaes, using chocolate syrup instead of maple and replacing butter with ice cream.
Tell us what you think. How do you eat your ice cream in the fall? Stay warm!
