Bewitching Halloween Treats

Are you thinking of throwing a Halloween Ice Cream Party? You can invite all your friends and tell them to wear a costume.. Complete your party with these spookytreats.  that will make your friends jump out of their masks!

Which Witch Ice Cream Cones

Adapted from Taste of Home, these which witch ice cream cones are fun to make and even better to eat. Keep them in a cold place or serve them right after preparing, or they may start yelling, “I’m melting. I’m melting!”

What you need:
  • 8 chocolate ice cream cones
  • 1 tube of chocolate decorating icing
  • 8 thin, round chocolate wafers
  • 1 quart of mint chocolate chip ice cream
  • 15 thin pieces of black licorice
  • 16 semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 candy corns
  • Red decorating gel
Steps:
  1. Coat the edge of the cones with chocolate icing and stick it on the wafer to make a hat.
  2. Scoop eight balls of ice cream onto wax paper.
  3. Cut six pieces of licorice and place three on each side toward the top, making hair.
  4. Use the chocolate chips to create eyes, a piece of candy corn to make a nose, and the red gel to make a mouth.
  5. Then place the hat on top of the witches’ head.
  6. Place ice cream in the freezer for at least two hours before serving.
  7. Wrap each separately after freezing in you are going to move them.

Ice Cream Eyeballs

This treat will make your guests look twice before eating.
What you need:
  • Vanilla Moo ice cream
  • Red/Cherry syrup
  • M&Ms
  • Black decorating gel
Steps:
  1. Scoop the ice cream into balls.
  2. Drizzle the red/cherry syrup onto the ice cream to create a bleeding or bloodshot effect.
  3. Put an M&M on the top to create the color of the eye and a black gel dot on top to make the pupil.
These great Halloween recipes are sure to melt in your mouth. Let your kids chew their fears away by making witches, ghosts, and monsters that they can eat.
