Wish Upon a (n Ice Cream) Star

By now, you're probably tired of all the posts that say:

• "Wonderful winter we're having this spring."
• "The stupid groundhog got it wrong." Did you know about the legal suit filed against Punxsutawney Phil?
• "When will spring be here?"
• "I thought it was spring already!"

Well, here's one more. In case you want to wish upon a star for warmer weather and can't see the night sky through the snow clouds, we've got you covered.

Sort of.

Spring, Flowers, and Ice Cream!

Happy Spring, everyone! We can all look forward to blooming flowers, delightful fragrances, and warmer temperatures. And of course, with warmer temperatures comes the growing desire to eat ice cream!

It seems that photographer Parker Fizgerald had the same idea. For his recent photoshoot for the magazine, "Kinfolk," Fizgerald combined flowers with ice cream to create artistic and beautiful images. Fashionable Ice Cream

Fashion Week is a hectic time for designers of all kinds. And now that the whole event is finished worldwide, we've found some pictures showcasing fashionable ice cream. From Louis Vuitton ads and the Chanel icon stamped into ice cream cones to commercially unwearable clothing, here are our favorites of the bizarre trend that is fashion mixed with our favorite thing in the world: ice cream.

Ice Cream Tulips Are Real!

The closer we come to March 20, the more we start to see tulips and other springtime plants pushing to the surface. Typically, ice is their enemy. In the past couple years, early thaws have resulted in fewer springtime flowers (and thus some fruits) because the buds were frozen in late-season frosts. But what if we could combine flowers with ice and still create something beautiful?

No, we’re not talking about tulip-flavored ice cream, though somewhere in Japan there might be a jasmine flavor. Instead, we’re talking about ice cream tulips!

What’s the difference? The difference is that these things are actually real, even if they don’t include actual ice cream. But we’ll let that slide. They look they have a giant dollop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream nestled between the vibrant petals. The result is that we just want to gorge ourselves on these gorgeous flowers.
