Put a Face on that Cone!

When you go to a fine dining restaurant or even to a friend’s party where food is being served, presentation certainly matters. Of course it’s great for the food itself to be good, but especially with ice cream, some occasions call for a more decorative presentation.

Food blogger Lyuba of Will Cook for Smiles wrote a blog post last week about some ice cream cone creations that would really put a smile on your face. With some fun toppings, you can modify or replicate these for a fun treat that your friends can’t help but photograph.

Among her creations were a panda, made with vanilla ice cream, creme-filled cookies, and candy for the eyes:

A hedgehog, made with ice cream, mini marshmallows, chocolate magic shell, candy eyes, and chocolate kisses:

For a prideful snack that you’ll be helpless against: a lion, featuring red and orange M&M for the mane, chocolate kisses with the tops cut off, and candy eyes.
